when I hear a dear friend say "hey ladybug, what's up?"...I can feel she really cares...
When I know a different dear friend is seriously and honestly listening to me and supporting my hard decisions to improve my life...and she doesn't get cranky when my plans don't put her at the TOP of my list ...she shows me that she knows I feel she's valuable and she makes me feel just as important ... When I come home to my puppies and I am the center of their world ... When I reconnect with a childhood friend who tells me she loves me just as much as back then and how touched she was when I tell her that she and her sisters were "my haven " from an awful world.. when that friend makes me FEEL she loves me and never stopped ...a true sister when a dear friend shares my passions AND my need for peace ...

Because... Now that friends have figured out that I am really leaving they are coming out of the woodwork and changing other plans to spend time with me. I think I have every moment filled up between now and when I leave next Sunday. I am loved, and according to many... I will be missed. It's a good feeling.
