What is up recently. Are the stars out of alignment. They are everywhere.

I saw a grumpy woman throw, yes THROW a half gallon of milk at a Walmart cashier the other day. Yes, Walmart cashiers can be frustrating but throwing a thing of milk?

Yesterday, I was sitting at a stop sign. It's one of those that stops you before entering a busy highway. It was right at lunch so the cars where pretty heavy. This lady was sitting there waiting to pull out. She must have been a nervous driver cause she kept starting and stopping. I guess she kept deciding she didn't have enough room. After about the third time, the man that was between me and the lady got out of his car, stomped up to the lady and started pounding on her trunk with both hands.

Last night at around midnight, my phone rang. It was one of those "withheld" numbers. I picked up and said hello. It was a wrong number. Well, nobody calls me that late so I was pretty freaked out. I thought something had happened to either my elderly parents or AJ. I know I sounded a little tense, but really how rude can one "hello" be? This yahoo starts yelling at me about not needing to be so rude, didn't mean to call wrong number, his person must have given him the wrong number. Well it took a couple minutes before I realized I could just hang up. Duh. What a JERK.


I swear, there is something grumpy making in our water right now and I really don't like it.

The freaking sever in my school's network. It's been having problems for the longest time, but the IT people there are worse, because they seem to only make the sever run with more errors than it already had, which then makes it impossible for people to do their work, check e-mail, register, apply for funds, pay their bills, or anything. It's just really annoying. GRRRRRRRR

Perhaps not relevant to you but this makes me think about how, sometimes as women in this culture, we're trained to blame ourselves for other people's creepiness.

We're trained to say, "It wasn't that they were out of line, it was that I was weak and let them."

Coming from a strong place, I eventually rejected that point of view.

From your posts, I can say you are WAY not weak.

mostly it's their owner pissing me off...

never judge a book by its cover... on the outside this is a $300,000 house in an immaculate neighborhood ...
on the inside is an owner that has shocked me several times with her disrespectful and "oh well" attitude ...THEN her VERY highly privileged and classist behavior.
there's many newly made discoveries that pissed me off today .. I don't feel like giving it more credit ...
but if my dog gets fleas ... the cats' owner will be paying the bill!!

No, I am not weak. Maybe too strong sometimes, but in that moment where I was trying to quit coffee so my stomach could heal and it was that one thing too many that I just could not do, I felt weak.

I am incredibly strong, I keep putting one foot in front of the other no matter what life throws at me.
