Hello laruss. Sorry to hear about your loss. I live in BC, just a bit east of Vancouver. Give me a shout when you are moving, and we can share a coffee on the porch, watching the sheep graze and enjoying the beauty of mother nature.

Okay, this wasn't meant to be a personal ad, I just wanted to share a bit about myself.

I look forward to getting to know people here and learning more about how we all cope with the day to day work of being single.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! A bit rainy and gloomy here...getting ready for family birthday party tomorrow. Meatballs and sausage with gravy, peppers and onions, potato salad, baked beans and lemon cake. Yummy!

This is my favourite time of year. Everything seems fresh. I watched my grandkids running around the property where I am moving, and I smiled. I made the right decision. Imagine! Being positive and thanking mother earth every day for her blessings works!!!!

I went to nowandthen's birthday party in Seattle yesterday. What fun! I love the intelligence mixed with compassion and a pure soul that makes Tee such a fine butch.

Good Morning, fellow Singles! Fever, I must agree with you! Spring is a remarkable time! We had a sneak peek of it the past couple of weeks and now it's back to our normal temps of the 40's and 50's during the day with the 20's at night! I know the good weather will return, sooner than later I hope!

I have been trying to figure out a way to talk to a butch that has NO conversation ability (or maybe just as shy as me) that works at a local gas station - can we say GORGEOUS! Oh my! Might be another month or two before I work up the courage to speak again.

Maybe I'll write to hym c/o the gas station and just YOU ARE GORGEOUS! lol

The best way to talk to someone is just chit chat, don't jump into how gorgeous they are right away. Every time you are at the station stop for a few minutes to just chat and say hi, ask them about themselves. Turn on the flirt a little but don't over do it. Just be yourself. If you ask an open ended question they are forced to chat a bit as opposed to a grunt or a nod. Good Luck

I love Spring... even if today there is a foot of snow that wasn't there last night. But, I know it will be gone in a day or two.

But with Spring in the air, all the horny girls are out, including me.

I have a date this weekend with someone I met on Saturday, I wasn't even flirting because I thought she was with someone. When she asked for my number I questioned her and she explained (straight friend). So... something to look forward to this weekend. I am excited, feels like forever since I have been on a date. Oh, maybe because it has been.

She is super sweet and really cute... wish me luck.

So as a "date" I would have to say it was ok, but I guess my idea of a "date" is different then some others.

If I am "dating" someone I want to get to know them to see how compatible we are together, what we have in common, etc.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a prude. I'm not opposed to sleeping with someone right away if that is what has been mutually decided, but if you want to get to know me don't jump me as soon as you get me alone. That's not dating in my books.

I sent her on her way the first night telling her I wanted to get to know her and see where things might go and the very next day she jumped me again so I figured what the F* and decided to go for it.

Yes, it made for a fun afternoon, but now in my mind she has been relegated to F* Buddy as opposed to someone to get to know.

Am I alone in this thinking? Is this the norm now a days, it's been a while since I have "dated".

happy hump day friends. Feeling a little down today. Having trouble with my wrist so I went to the dr. She thinks it may actually be a problem with my neck. I already have neck trouble so something new isn't welcome. I had xrays today because insurance demands it, but it won't show anything. Xrayed my neck and my wrist. Next week I see a hand surgeon, and in early may I see my neck dr. Then they will send me for an mri. Wish they would just look at the xray results and schedule the mri that we all know is going to be nessassary. Save me 2 days pay in dr visits. We shall see.
