Now for the positive accomplishments

paid my library fines
sent a reminder notice for a workshop I am teaching this Saturday
misted my high maintenance ginger bonsai
made dinner plans with a friend

Worked out. Got to gym about 6:45 am.
did little grocery shopping
went home..work on 2 doggies
went to drop of recycle stuff plastic and glass
Got Blaze's dry cleaning he is going on a business trip tomorrow
went grocery shopping again for stuff I forgot earlier
came home made dinner and brownies
worked on a soap order.(It's teacher appreciation week)

Pulled weeds in moms vegetable garden and checked on the veggie growth that doing very well.

I accomplished not pulling my tattoo artist's beard out by the roots as he worked on the inner forearm portion of my new half sleeve. As he would grin mischieviously or chuckle when I would suck half the chair up my ass clenching from the pain. Especially around my elbow.

FINALLY finished sending out the last of The Boy's graduation invitations.
Went to the new place and changed out the door locks,
put out ant bait,
put several coats of Rust-o-leum on the antiquated medicine cabinet (oh crap! I just realized I forgot to close the bathroom window. Damn!),
took measurements so I can figure out what isn't going to fit,
did the walk through and dropped it off with the new keys at the landloards,
started a list of stuff to get and/or bring to the new place.
(Starting with toilet paper.)
And made some cool Craigslist cash.

At work at the elder care center,today after near seven months of being in a fog and confused one of my clients..got up and came over to the pool table where I was playing alone..I was racking up the balls to play 8 ball...start takeing balls out of the pockets and roll ing them to me..then takeing a pool cue off the rack and after the break takeing a fue shots at pocketing some balls.Folks this is the first time she had even showed she notices anything..it made my day.

about a hundred emails answered (seriously )
several conference calls
picked Rooster up early from school
went to Post Office and completed all paperwork for passports (Bahamas here we come!)
ate the yummy dinner my sweetie made
consulted on homework
framed some certificates (honor roll, perfect science benchmark test score and "continuing excellence in science") Rooster brought home
admired them on the shelves
did a little laundry
went for a walk on the jetty with Scoote and enjoyed the sunset and the waves

~ finished switching over both computers to a new isp

~ cleaned up

~ did library run

~ did bank run

~ did lil store for incidentals run

~ dumped trash

~ got mail

~ added to da Momma's pay as you go cell phone....wonder if she even remembers how to turn the darn thing on

~ awaiting the arrival of the next contractor who wants to overcharge me for bath renovations

~ then it is me, a book, the sun and the beach!

Today I am hosting my favorite event of the year (at the school I work at)

Grandparents & Special Friends Day

I had a very special relationship with my grandparents and I adore watching the grandparents interact in the classrooms and experiencing the love and joy that is so evident between the children and their grandparents.

Everyone ends the day really happy.

Drove 180 miles to NE Oklahoma to Northeastern State University
Loaded my truck with my son's belongings
Had a blowout on my 180 mile drive home
Called AAA and waited for a tire chage; that's what I pay them for!
Finished the 180 mile drive home
Unpacked my son's belongings
Helped my dad rip up some cardboard boxes, then explained the whole concept of recycling to him (no kidding)
Listened to my dad rant and rave about his life, which he needed to do to lower his blood pressure.
