 Lighting a candle today for all who stop by this "place" of prayer, hope, and love. lighting a candle for an end of wars and the intrigue that produces wars. The greed, corruption, and tangled morass of racism, poverty, and torture of people, creatures, and the earth. Lighting a candle for my sister, her husband, her kids that they get through this last part of Dolo's journey with the sense of family still intact. May the Love that shines beyond understanding glow bright as the stars in a desert night. I light a candle for myself today. For gratitude for the the many kindnesses expressed, the compassion and tender love shown to me here. For thanks to an airline agent who, in the midst of holiday traffic, found me a non-stop flight for December 23, and who had the good send to suggest an open return flight when I was unable to figure that out for myself. And, lastly, for my wretched mood swings, which has entered the point of giddiness from that of despair.

Lighting a candle. A blaze. Set the friggin house afire ...
Cancelling trip. Too stressful for sis to arrive Christmas eve. Meanwhile, I learn that she called her kids and yelled at them ... the theme? "Im not dead yet." Need to call nieces and nephews. Reminding them that there is brain metastasis. That something akin to hospice started today... Oy veh. |

also lighting a candle for my 14 yr old teenage daughter.. she's in a rutt of some sort and i worry about her greatly.. i will forever stand by her side and love her, no matter what bad decisions she makes.. but will continue to worry about her and do what is necessary to keep her safe from harm, no matter how unhappy she is with me for doing so, knowing one day she will thank me.. i am keeping faith B, i love you!♥

A call from my Sister this morning.
Stanford has turned down her application for my Niece to have her 3rd Heart Transplant, add to that she also needs a kidney now...because she is not showing signs of improvement and is too weak to handle such a procedure.  So Cedar Sinai in LA is requesting she be Life Flighted in today to see what miracles they can create for her.  She is a little Warrior ~ please light a candle for her so that the Miracle can find its way to her. She is running out of time.

I don't remember if I ever updated all of you on R since her biopsy, so I will now
It has been confirmed she has Hodgkins, thinking stage 2 There have to be more tests before chemo can start She has been able to put 4 pounds back on since having her gallbladder out though Keeping upbeat about her future Please say a prayer for her when ya'll say your prayers
