Joy - to remind us that no matter how bad things get there is always joy to be found somewhere; even in the darkest of times if you look you will find it

sometimes wishing was more i could do, but having been the one in need before, i know someone holding one in their thoughts & prayers can be the exact comforting hug one needs..

Chemo is really kicking R's butt
She says the pain meds help very little
On a good note, the nodules on her thyroid are benign

Tonight I light a candle for the poor teenage mother that has just lost her infant child. I light it for her suffering. I light it for her situation that put her pregnant at 13. I light it for her unsupportive family structure that left her alone in the intensive care with her infant child. I light it for her sobs and cries, alone, as we fought to save her child.
