Today Ill be driving to Columbus to be with my brother and my nephews and im soooo happy about that . I talked to my 5 and 6 year old nephews yesterday and said " hey Colin and Cameron guess what "? They said " what what what " haha . I said " the Easter bunny came to my house today looking for you both " ! They started giggling lots. I said " the Easter bunny left something for me to bring you both . Colin said to his brother Cameron " ohhhhh was it a lot of candy in baskets and toys and candy and bring them here hurry" . My oldest nephew in the background who is near driving age said " uncle Blake , did the Easter bunny leave you money to give me " ? Clearing out one of my mom's rooms, trying to organize it and my mom hugging me afterwards and saying how much this needed to be done and thanked me......also what made me smile were photos of my mom when she was a young girl along with photos of my nan (her mom), my great grandmother and greatgreat grandmother......

What made me smile today....
My oldest daughter came to visit me today. I must admit I am very happy that she is allowing herself time to heal and move forward from her marriage. She is getting in touch with her roots once again and growing stronger for herself and her children. Another guy tried to come in and sweep her off her feet already and she threw him to the curb when he raised his voice at her children and copped an attitude with her. I am glad to see she is setting healthy boundaries. She definitely needed it after the last jerk she had in her life. She told me today she is almost 30 and asked if I could believe it. I told her to stop making me feel old. Haahaa!! Yep! She's my girl and i love her to death. Hard to believe it has been so many years since she sat on my lap babbling to me. Daddy's little girl has become quite the woman and she does indeed make me smile.
