What made you smile tonight....
I went to a lifestyle event this evening (a "munch"-- casual atmosphere-- drinks, food, conversation-- a public venue where we won't scare the vanillas) and had a lot of fun talking to people, catching up with some friends that I haven't seen in a few weeks. I'm definitely the "hugging" type, very comfortable with people hugging me, so it was nice seeing old friends and making new ones-- and getting hit on by a few people, one of which kept forgetting my name (there were lots of people, and I am horrible with names with that many people around too), so she kept calling me "Blue Eyes" all evening. She asked me out this weekend, but 1- I'm not ready, and 2- I'm not looking for a poly relationship, and she's polyamorous.
But it WAS very flattering and made me grin and blush like a complete idiot.

So blessed to have her, happy knowing I've finally found a way to help her. Can't help smiling at the antics of Her Furriness with her morning appreciation of the sparrows nesting above the bedroom window, very happy kitty. Things are starting to get slowly better, tempting fate? Fuck it, life's too short to let it pass me by and it's up to the living to keep the memory of those lost alive, I can honour him by doing what he did; getting the best out of everything.

While at the nail salon today there were two different women each being kept company [one w/ a pedicure the other w/ a nail fill] by their big burly rough kinda looking boyfriends/husbands. LoL Those men just seemed so out of place in such a delicate pampering space yet they were both very comfortable and content just being with their girls. I loved watching both couples.
