To preface; I'm not quite certain what made me decide that a 91 degree afternoon is the greatest time to bake crusty Italian bread (which requires the oven to be preheated for 40 minutes to 425 degrees), but the heart wants what the heart wants....
What is making me smile is how incredible my place smells right now; even with all the windows flung open and incense burning! I'm not even hungry; just kicked back, enjoying the day on the back porch reading, relaxing, and listening to a bunch of kids have a great time in the pool. |

Not only smiling but laughing ... made it to the other side of my brief melt-down. No bruises or scratches ... not even a scraped knee.
 When things pile up all at once, sometimes I get so overwhelmed and unable to handle it well. Everything is the same ... my precious dog is still deceased, the irritating elderly drug addict lady next door got out of the hospital and went back to drugging ... but now I have my grip. One thing, if my druggie neighbor ever comes into my living room and goes through my stuff looking for her keys again, it is not going to be good! She just opened my door and came in. I was out back working and knew nothing about it until later. And I don't care if she is high and has no memory of it. Made me have a sensation of being violated. Oh well, cool now! Whew! Here is a goody: Supervisor called tonight and our manager texted him tonight saying we can dress casual all week since 4th of July is Friday. YAY Jeans! Winding down now ...
