Hi all! I will keep this thread bumped: we will meet @ K'ya in Laguna Beach on Sat. 10/1. Happy hour is $5 food and $5 drinks from 4:30-5:30. I am sure it gets packed so when we can get a general final count, I can go earlier to make sure we get a table(s). Hopefully it will still be warm so we can sit outside on the rooftop.

Menu is farther down on the thread.

Look forward to meeting everyone

Ps: San Diego farther for me but sounds like fun too.

We will meet @ K'ya in Laguna Beach on Sat. 10/1. Happy hour is $5 food and $5 drinks from 4:30-5:30. I would like to drive from Long Beach area to south OC, and hitch a ride down to San Diego, if bonfire is confirmed for 10/8. Happy to help with gas.

I'm not particularly good on my SoCal geography but I would like to think that this will be possible. Certainly, Tmbyfem's previous bonfires have usually seen a good crowd travelling down from LA metro area.

You bet, I came south about an hour and a half from Laguna Beach area, and I know some came from Long Beach (about 30 mins from me) and Los Angeles about 45 min's north, and the Riverside/inland Empire area east of us.

If this happens, and anyone wants to carpool South from the Orange County area, we can meet near the Irvine train station. Parking there is free, and it is close to both the 405 and 5 Freeways.

Big Thunder here in OC. Katz are still on hyperalert, even though it was an hour ago..

TiggerGirl is at my knee and wants to be held. Peches Boi is wide eyed 2 feet back from the patio doors.

We don't have such storms. We were sure surprised...
