Saw a dime on the sidewalk and picked it up... felt all chocked-up-nostalgic and old when I realised that pretty soon (maybe even now), kids wont know what it is to find a "lucky penny".
And you know what? "lucky dime" just doesn't cut it...it's so charmless...has no magic to it... besides, who'd ever offer you a "dime for your thoughts" So, yes, I did smile when I found that dime but I didn't really mean it. |

My bank has been updating software, changing procedures, and messing with the accounting practices of a month now. They sent a letter today informing me they were inadvertently late with an interest payment. Thus, they were compensating me for their lateness. My prize? A whole half penny added to my interest! How the heck do you add a half of a penny to your checkbook? |

I saw a commercial for Wells Fargo...of all things... these 2 women were learning sign language...and at the end you realize they are a couple and adopting a daughter who is hearing impaired.... It did my heart good on many levels <3
