kiss me
til your need
takes possession

kiss me
til your desire
almost kills

kiss me
til your passion's
hard flaming

kiss me
til you're dying
inside my mouth

kiss me
til my heart
is breaking

work is difficult
a burden upon my back
yet with the right spirit
the heaviness
is taken into the act
of nothing
all goes easy after that
for heaven and earth
are united, and i
finish where i was at

My closed heart is starting to crack and open
My early love is beginning to blossom and unfold
This is what we have said we have wanted
My bronze love slowly turning to gold

I've put my memories away
Folded carefully between twin paper sheets
Yet though I walk these days happy
In sleep a dream silently weeps

I look at these mountains and wonder
If they were the Wu Mountains so cold
And we were two simple dwellers
In a land where jade more precious than gold
