Today in History
I thought it would be fun to have a thread to share events from this day in history. My inspiration was something I heard on the radio driving in to work this AM.
It would be cool to share whatever you know of history on the day you post. For June 4 - Elizabeth Thible, Lyons, France is the first woman to fly in a hot air balloon in 1784. Thus providing a start for women pilots and astronauts. |
