The last of my ...onion,ground turkey,sweet potato,red/yellow pepper,blk eyed peas, and garbanzo bean soup.

Temps are in the high 50's/low 60's here for the next few days so I decided to cook up a big pot of meat & veggie chili.

Fresh poached salmon and steamed green beans... iced tea

I basted a chicken breast with my shockingly spicy honey mustard that I bought...no mention of horseradish in the ingredients btw. I got the stuff to have with pretzels...smh

I threw a sweet potato in for the dogs and I'm going to have veggies of some sort with my chicken. I haven't planned that far ahead.

I keep forgetting that I bought salmon...I love it with green beans too. I'm gonna have to copy you soon.

I had sausage on bread with mustard along with chips and queso.

I skipped the veggies. I just really crave protein now that I'm working out more. I guess that's good

I can't take credit for cooking tonight..but, I had

brown rice
stir fry veggies with tofu
hot and sour soup
rangoons(filled with vegan cream cheese, spinach and seasonings)

all vegan...and so good

oh and in honor of national chocolate cake day...yup had cake

My Sweetheart made a Cuban traditional black bean soup for us, the other day. It's soooo delicious. I added shredded carrots, fresh sweet onions, and sprinkled shredded unsweetened coconut, to the soup base today.

For dessert, we are having Carrot cake. It's baking in the oven right now. By late this afternoon, I'll make a coconut cream frosting to put on the cake.

I had two pork tacos with pico de gallo and lime juice on corn tortillas. I am addicted. I had a glass of blackberry brandy with dinner.

While I had lentils cooking in vegetable broth, I sauteed a couple of onions, sundried tomatoes and soy italian sausage in olive oil. Once the lentils were done I mixed them in and then added some mixed spices that I bought from the local co-op. It turned out really flavorful. I caught my son picking soy sausage bites from the pan while he was waiting for his steak to grill... Guess he approved.

Leftover meat and veggie chili

We had cheese pizza.

Last night was bacon wrapped prawns and cole slaw.
