I've had a roast in the crock-pot all day. It might be shoe-leather but the potatoes and carrots and onions will surely be edible

Roast tip #1 it is very hard to over cook. 7 hours make a fall apart roast no matter what the type of meat. 325 degrees is usually perfect.
