I'm working this weekend so I will be brown bagging it. Probably cheese & crackers, leftover potato salad, oranges.....:jester:

Oh yeah, I actually cook them in chicken broth with fresh jalapeños and a healthy splosh of juice from a jar of jalapeños. Added some Alderwood-smoked salt too and dammnnnnnn.
I've made them for years with chicken broth and bacon but JD turned me on to the jalapeños. I'm HOOKED!

Smoked salt sounds yummy. I was gifted smoked pepper and I am hooked. Jalapenos are yummy.

My nite to 90 yo dad sit. Made fish sandwiches with halibut and French fries.trying to put a pound or two on my skinny dad.

His dessert was Reese's ice cream with extra peanut butter on it

I had cereal and banana. That was just what I wanted.

I bought some gyro meat, brought it home and made a gyro salad with tomatoes, onions, lettuces and tzatziki sauce. Didn't really miss the pita once I dug into it. :)

I just made a homemade pizza.

Bob's Mill pizza crust mix jazzed up with garlic and red pepper, homemade garlic and tomato sauce, spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, black olives, purple onion, mozzarella, nutmeg, and oregano and basil.

Delish!

Last night -- cheese perogi with carmelized onions and sour cream

I've got chicken breasts in the crockpot and some stuffing, broth, cream of chicken soup, onion. A recipe my sister told me about. Gonna have mashed taters and green beans with it.

It was a hodgepodge including a crispy taco, a few bites of ham, some green peas. Haha! Peach ice tea to drink.
