I am doing bacon-wrapped filet mignon (super rare!), string beans with lemon and garlic, and maybe a tiny salad on the side.

And I bet a glass of red wine for me and a double-IPA for JD will be in that formula somewhere.

After completing my errands today, I finally found myself dining alfresco at an restaurant that serves wonderful authentic Mexican cuisine. I had a plate of three shredded chicken enchiladas, with home made Salsa Verde, and their version of garden salad. I also had a glass of Cinnamon'd Rice milk, which isn't a milk, but very delish.

It was not her gorgeous day, the weather was sooooo purrfect.
75 degrees, slightly windy, blue skies after a pearly sky morning. :stillheart:

It sounds like your dining alfresco was a pleasant experience! Glad there was no beating hot sun, flies, mosquitoes, bees, or wasps to ruin your meal..LOL

I won't dine alfresco if there's any hot sun, bugs, flies or wasps or bees around. It's really only a small window of certain types of weather, where it's nice to dine alfresco. Most always, though, I dine inside a restaurant.

Late October is another perfect weather opportunity to dine alfresco too. Cool autumn air, less intense heat from the sun, gorgeous fall foilage,,,,,, that's truly the time to dine alfresco. :balloon:

Malt-O-Meal Cocoa Dyno Bites Cereal with 2% milk because that was the only milk that was on sale.

cinnamongrrl 07-03-2017 11:03 PM

Dinner was actually a late lunch....

I went to a really nice restaurant down by the waterfront. I had visited the Seattle aquarium and, strangely enough, it gave me a hankering for fish. So I got a nice seafood chowder and a salad.

So filling I'm still not hungry hours later...although I did have some cherries when I got home...so maybe cherries are officially my dinner...

candy_coated_bitch 07-03-2017 11:26 PM

A sandwich on multigrain bread, with grilled tofu, tomato, cucumber, sprouts, and hummus. It was from a cafe down the street and soooooooo good!
