Roomie came home sick and asked for an early dinner of hot pita sandwiches filled with ham and cheese.
Then.... I prepared more Steak Pinwheels to freeze for later.... and marinated thin sliced meat to make more homemade beef jerky soon. To top my evening off and warm up the kitchen a bit, I made a homemade blackberry-blueberry pie (that turned out with issues) and a late snack of spinach artichoke crisptinies. |

Having a carb day or two, so roasted chicken and potato salad tonight with raw asparagus most likely.

A bowl of Blade's homemade chili with a bunch of melted cheese....
