well last night
 

it was mexican - taco, chile relleno, enchilada. chips with salsa and a couple of xx amber beers.

For me I had a salad with homemade dressing,my son wanted two of my specialty ham burgers..the doubble stuffed ones with mushroom and blue cheese with povalone slices to top it off served on a sessame seeded bun..sweet potato fries to back it up.

Already in the crock pot. . . .

corn for the fam

and brocolli for me.

Tonite - I haven't a clue what everyone will be eating. Most likely whatever hasn't perished in the fridge so far this week :|

Today we're celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving down in the ATL. On the menu: Turkey, dressing, corn souffle, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, homemade cranberry sauce, pecan pie, pumpkin pie...

I'm making chicken piccata, haricot vert al dente with almond slices and a baby spinach, pomegranate & roasted pignoli salad.

I have no idea really.

I might roast some meat and potatos and root vegetables and bake some bread in the oven.

I really want some chocolate - maybe have some hot cocoa with coconut creamer (for right now) and then make a German Chocolate cake too (for dessert).

I'm at my mom's and she is making beef roast, roasted red potatoes, green beans and a salad that within our family is named for me because I like it so much.

i am making chicken teriyaki with mushrooms, onions, and white rice.

Im home alone so I made me a combo salad,hot tea for a change to drink.

Went to Outback with friends. Had a very good rare t-bone, sweet potatoes and a caesar salad. YUMMY

Finally was able to get back to some home made cooking. Chicken breast, seasoned and sauted, boiled potatoes with a drop or two of olive oil and seasonings and green beans as a side dish.

Ate my dinner of creamy french onion chicken casserole but was fiending for chocolate. Had a cup of Maltomeal's Coco-dynaroos cereal, totally hit the spot. Who knew chocolate cereal was so well, chocolaty

We celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving tonight so we had turkey, green bean casserole, corn souffle, mashed potatoes, a shredded carrot dish, dressing, and sweet potato souffle. It was all very yummy.

I have enough left overs that I will be eating it for the remainder of the week. No complaints here!!!! :hangloose:

It has rained for the last 2 days here in Oklahoma! Yeah Yeah Yeah! We beat Texas and Red had made her infamous gumbo. Life is good!

Thanksgiving Dinner
 

It is Thanksgiving weekend in Canada. But, since my kids were both busy, I went to the local restaurant with a friend and had turkey schnitzel, roast potatoes, veggies.

Nice alternative to the traditional roast turkey dinner, and I didn't have to cook!

Tonoght im fixing shrimp stir fry,sonny boy will have rice with his,I wont..waisted carbs that can go to something better.

My son ask me to make a home made pizza tonight,the next 3 nights will be something quick cause its my nights to play pool...no time for a lot of cooking.

Ohhhh, the house does smell yummy...

As do my hands from shaping the pakora, despite having washed them 3 times. :cat:

Went to one of my favorite pizza joints here in the Fort with my bestie! We overstuffed on the buffet and had great conversation :)
