Went with my BFF and her Mom (who's visiting from Tacoma) to Willy Bird's in Santa Rosa CA.

I had antipasta appetizer, sourdough bread and butter, salad with ranch on the side, clam chowder, Turkey Stroganoff and broccoli.

And then back at the house punkin and marionberry pie with vanilla ice cream for dessert.

I couldn't eat another bite, not even a wafer thin mint.

I'm making chicken piccata, haricot vert al dente with almond slices and a baby spinach, pomegranate & roasted pignoli salad.

Kätzchen 10-09-2011 10:34 AM

I have no idea really.

I might roast some meat and potatos and root vegetables and bake some bread in the oven.

I really want some chocolate - maybe have some hot cocoa with coconut creamer (for right now) and then make a German Chocolate cake too (for dessert).

Cowboi 10-09-2011 12:41 PM

Thanksgiving Dinner

It is Thanksgiving weekend in Canada. But, since my kids were both busy, I went to the local restaurant with a friend and had turkey schnitzel, roast potatoes, veggies.

Nice alternative to the traditional roast turkey dinner, and I didn't have to cook!
