Papa Murphy's Pizza YUM!!

I found baby asparagus at my coop. It makes NO sense this time of year. I decided to instill the "don't ask don't tell" policy and indulge. I usually don't cave like that until midwinter (do buy something so obviously non-local and out of season)
But that sauteed with some baby bella mushrooms tonight was so good. Paired with some flounder that I baked with lime and chilies. |
I was sooo busy today I forgot dinner.... Luckily I had some little animal cracker bags that I got for trick or treat...(kids need healthy choices too) I had 2 of those which amounted to about 10 cookies....cheapskates...
Luckily I keep a bag of trail mix at work for just such an occasion....and I had gum to tide me over.... I really need to plan better :| |
clean-out-the-fridge fritatta (red onion, potato, mushroom, red bell, zuchinni, garlic, rosemary, eggs, feta, parm). OJ/Pineapple/Mango juice. Last of the pumpkin pie.

I'm thinking tonight we'll have breakfast dinner - our kids LOVE that! Probably biscuits & gravy, eggs and bacon.

Gluten free pizza topped with pesto, sauteed mushrooms and onions, plum tomatoes, olives,fresh basil, and a little mozzarella.

Red and green Spinach, avocado and cherry tomatos with vidalia onion dressing Will be hungry later for the cottage cheese and spiced pears. Am at work and that's what I brought:) |

Tonight I am making a creamy chicken stew with veggies, cream of chicken soup and egg noodles. I usually make this only in the winter months because it is so warm and comforting...but it has been on the chilly side here for a few days now and I wanted the comfort dammit! :)

I had tabouli salad from the Greek market...they make it soooo good....and I had some peanuts in the shell....and I got a mango that was nice and squishy...but upon cutting it open found it wasn't good at all.....I'm irked and saddened....so mango for me.....sighhh

Tonight a few of us went to this French restaurant in Park Slope. I had gnocchi with vegetables. Kinda weird choice. Little tasty potato-and-dough nuggets, some grilled zucchini and squash stirred in with them. Water, not wine, since I was driving. For dessert, I'm going to have a frozen coconut bar when Homeland starts in 20 minutes or so.

I can't decide... either spaghetti, or perhaps pork chops in the crock pot.

Tonight, we are all about the veggies :)

Lobster and shrimp ravioli in garlic and white wine, and homemade baguette bread.

I'm thinking I will bring home a frozen pizza from Trader Joe's as suggested by Sun. We have pasta salad that I made....and a nice bottle of red wine that I have to remember to put in the fridge!

Pork roast, baked potatoes (white for Rooster, sweet for me)....and whatever veggie jumps out of the crisper drawer to volunteer when I'm ready to cook veggies. :chef2:

I think I just had a late lunch early dinner of a pack of variety nuts with sea salt, then some turkey breast deli meat and cheese melted in a tortilla like quesadilla, then I had some frozen broccoli and chicken breaded thing. LOL :blink:
tonight going to work late and I'm sure I'll make a protein shake on my way then have a banana and coffee and tea in the early morning. |
Because cooking anything more exotic was just too much effort today, I had scrambled egg on toast. Then because I was hungry again 2hrs later I ate butter beans straight from the can. If I'd spent just 5 minutes putting together a decent sandwich I'd not be on my way to see what's in the fridge. Again.
