I made a huge pot of.....

"Frogmore Stew" or "Lowcountry Boil"....it has neither frogs NOR "stew" in it
It is bacon, kielbasa, onions, corn cobettes, and red potatoes...I use two bottles of beer and one bottle of water.....as my liquid.....all cooked in layers...seasoned with Old Bay Seasoning...and then steam fresh shrimp in a steamer basket on top (you should NEVER immerse shrimp in liquid...and steam only til pink and done!!)
Some people add crab legs, mussels, or oysters also...here in my area this is a local food...and usually is enjoyed outdoors on a huge long table covered with butcher paper and folks just come along and dish what they want...enjoy with a cold beer
Man, is this stuff good...my bestest friend had never had it...and LOVED it! I happen to love it as well!!! smiles...

Can't believe I am writing this but here goes: lentils, fresh steamed broccoli and steamed butternut squash.

No, I am not a vegetarian, just working on my health.

Uh, no butter or margarine on the veggies either :|

My ex took a ride out by my brother with me and we stopped at a small local bbq house
I had the spare rib dinner
The portions there are huge while the price is small for what is served
I have leftovers for two more meals, easily
