Early in the day, I pureed some Roma tomatoes with onions and Italian seasonings and simmered it for a few hours.

Later, I made a large muffin tin full of muffin meatloaves with garlic, rosemary, onion, red pepper, and fresh spinach in them. Once baked, I spooned some of the sauce over them. I'll be eating good this week. :)

Had dinner not too long ago. It was rice, sweet and sour fish, Chinese Brussels sprouts, baby bok choi with pork, and fried squid. Washed down with a glass of Chinese tea.

Yummy. Although the bok choi dish was the best.

Leftover spaghetti bolognaise and I am making apple and blackberry crumble with the blackberries we picked yesterday. It will be more crumble than fruit and served with ice cream.

i had a bowl of shredded wheat (the large bricks, not the small) with warm milk and a little sweetener.

it was delicious.

MsBluem 09-24-2013 06:04 PM

My allergies/general fall stuffiness has killed my appetite so today's been a steady stream of orange juice and tea. I did make myself eat some noodles earlier though. Going to pick up some Progresso chicken soup after work. That's my go to, "hey body. you can't get sick. i have things to do" meal.

RockOn 09-24-2013 07:11 PM

A can of that chicken noodle Healthy Choice or maybe it is Healthy Request. It's the one where you don't add anything to it. Kind of watery but enough black pepper can help anything.

And a large glass of very cold milk. Ahhhhhh, must always have that delicious milk. :) I get edgy when there's less than a quart in the fridge. LOL!

easygoingfemme 09-24-2013 07:54 PM

'Twas an odd collection of food that encompassed my desire for salty food and my daughter's need to fill up before a three hour evening class.
  • Channa Massala
  • Spinach samosas
  • Lentil bread
  • Edamame
  • Turkey burgers

Bèsame* 09-24-2013 07:58 PM

I was creative with the mashed potatoes ...
Mixed the country gravy and a little milk...ta da...potato soup!

And, me too, a glass of milk:)
Applesauce in a little while

Gemme 09-24-2013 08:10 PM

Indian Food. Decided to spoil myself.

Tandoori Yogurt Marinade Chicken
A spicy yogurt marinade with fruit juice, my own recipe.
Can be baked or grilled.

Vegetable Rice
My own recipe as well, a typical yellow rice, like a Pulao, with some veggies stirred in.

Papadums with Garlic Chive
Spicy Lentil Crackers, fried to a crisp, kind of like potato chips.
Store Bought.

Raita
Yogurt Dip, I made it.
Standard Recipe

Tamarind Chutney
I made it for the first time... turned out pretty good!

(Raita and Chutney are for dipping the papadums)
