i had a lateish lunch.....but I got back from hiking feeling peckish....and avoided alll the fa(s)t food..... so I had....

lovely trader joes greek vanilla yogurt...with a sprinkle of trail mix I had leftover...seeds,nuts and raisins mostly...and a piece of Athena melon mixed in....I need to have that for breakfast tomorrow!

3 ears of bread and butter corn fresh from the field today!! Nothing else, the corn is that good here in Pa. :)

I made southern fried steak, mashed potatoes both smothered with loads of gravy and sauteed zucchini on the side....desert was a peanut butter and chocolate layered cake.... ice cold sweet sun tea to wash it all down...

Tonight I made cheese ravioli and I made fresh pestro and a cesaer salad. My 15 year old told me I should open a restaurant. Not quite, but she is so sweet

Sausage casserole, fresh out of the garden fried squash, fresh out of the garden corn on the cob, fresh out of the garden cucumber tomato salad. Some time I surprise myself.

Homemade Meatball Subs

For a late lunch I grabbed Subway....turkey breast with pepper jack, spinach, tomatoes, jalapenos, green peppers and that's about all they had....it wasn't a great Subway. I had to ask for extra spinach...they were being chinzy with it....

Oh so yeah I had the rest for dinner when I got home...lol that was the point of this story...

I ended up having to take the day off. I made BLT sandwiches and pasta salad for lunch. For dinner I made pancakes and sausage links.
