I made both of us salads with romaine and mushrooms and tomatoes (for me) and red pepper flakes (for him) and sauted some onion, jalopeno, and hamburger. I divvied it up and put steak sauce on mine for a psuedo sloppy joe sandwich and Organic is doing low carbs so no bun for him. He got cheese tossed into the pan and heated up all nice into a homemade version of cheeseburger helper. For dessert, I had a small root beer float and O had a small saucer of roasted nuts.

I had "Nonna's Sunday Gravy" with meatballs, sausage, and braciole, surrounded by seven of my absolute favorite people in the world. As good as the food was, the company, and the occasion, were better.

I had breakfast for supper; whole wheat toast, sausage and scrambled eggs smothered with goodies.

i cooked for a wedding tonight, so i was able to eat an extra plate. 9 oz. beef tenderloin with a bearnaise sauce...mashed potatoes...and grilled vegetables. it was so good.

I was feeling lazy tonight so I ordered Chinese delivery; mu shu pork and pan fried pot stickers with rice. There's enough leftover for another two meals.

Unbelievable that I'm 58yo and had my first taco truck taco tonight. It was darn good too!!!! |

organic ingredients: chicken red onions garlic - elephant or regular butter, and more butter cilantro olives, capers sweet potatoes celery carrots rosemary roasted green chilies then for my salad: arugula sweet peppers Fuji apple thinly sliced fresh basil and olive oil/lemon dressing French bread coffee and music... Due to today's unbelievable bargin (5 hass avacados for 50 cents) I will be eating guacamole or sliced avacados with lemon and olive oil on something. Ya'll are making my tummy growl!

We wound up having a salad and half a wrap for Organic and a sandwich for me. That wasn't enough so we each had a small bowl of oatmeal too. Warm and filling!

Let's see... I had grilled chicken and a small scoop of cottage cheese , then some raw asparagus, green beans and baby spinach leaves very quickly sauteed in a hot pan with a splash of seasoning and olive oil.

Picnic for one...
Pita chips, fresh hummus, bits of feta and delightfully delicious marinated mediterranean olives. And to drink, iced water with a sprig of mint. |
We had Korean barbecue from a new place. Very good.

Tonight's fare is; grilled top round burger with Worcestershire sauce (organic and reduced sodium) followed by a salad of baby spinach leaves, feta cheese, olives, slivered almonds, artichoke hearts, and some raw green beans. I topped that with olive oil and a seasoned rice vinegar.

I had cup of noodles, chicken flavor and a handful of animal crackers. With the exception of the 4 peas and the 2 bits of carrots, my meal was very beige. :|

Healthy Choice Turkey Medallions with dressing, green beans and apple crisp with oatmeal. I love these dinner because they are cost affective when cooking for one's self, health and delicious. It is easy to figure out the carb counts and as a diabetic that is important.
