Have not even thought about it yet? But I will probably fry some fish........

I will return to eating healthy tomorrow, today I was craving steamed dumplings from China 1! I had the dumplings for lunch along with a small salad from home, and for dinner I am having boneless spare ribs with chicken fried rice and a spring roll. Good treat for me today! :)

Chicken, dal/lentils, butter lettuce salad.
I'm on a lentils kick. It's the perfect comfort food for me. I found a dal seasoning that I like. Today I'm trying a combination of green and red lentils. 3/4 green and 1/4 red. The red lentils will mush up and give it a nice thickness, I hope. Added lots of green onions, too. |
I ended up putting a big frozen chicken pot pie in the oven.

I had a sunflower seed salad and a big bowl of mixed fruit.

Mom made a recipe from Olive Garden, the pasta fagoul dish along with a side salad and buttered italian bread.

grilled talipia.....extremely soft steamed veggie medley.....smashed potato....6 oz all totaled.....yummm...had dinner at Shells....a fave of ours

I went to Qdoba last night. Had a shredded beef burrito and chips with queso.

Sonny boy is off to Texas for a pig hunt, so to night I had one of my fav dinners. French bread from the market, Greek olives, sliced tomatoes, two different kinds of cheese , Ritz crackers with apple slices. all that is missing is someone to share it with.

I had a black bean chipotle burger with sweet potato fries, coconut crunch cookies and sparkling water.

Porkchop with simmered apple sauce glazed with French cut green beans and mashed potatoes and a glass of sweet tea.
Desert was pudding with a small amount of whipped cream on top. :-) |
I put some pork loins in the crock pot with mushroom soup, stove top stuffing, and a bit of broth. Turned out pretty good! :hangloose:

Dinner was a long awaited (2 years) visit to Tupelo Honey Cafe in south Asheville...
We started with fried green tomatoes on grits which had goat cheese and red pepper aioli mixed in...I'm not fond of goats cheese but the rest was awesome... For my entree I got the Charleston chicken sandwich which had havarati cheese, greens and cranberry mayonnaise. Basil butter green beans on the side and my lady shared her fried okra which was the BEST okra I've ever had in my mouth... They also brought out biscuits served with incredible blueberry jam and, of course, tupelo honey. I forgot that I didn't love tupelo honey....after I slathered half my biscuit with it. Luckily, I had some jam left to quiet the taste... It was an awesome dinner and I'm definitely taking my mom there when she visits... |

A lowcarb protein shake for me at work tonight, fixed a plate of leftover pot roast and veggies for spouse to put in microwave for her dinner tonight.:hangloose:

I had a slice of pepperoni pizza and homemade guacamole. Ice tea to drink.

Keeping it simple hear, had pan seared pork chops with string beans along with butter milk biskits.

Lentils and a salad. Gonna go put the lentils on now.

I made myself a scrumptious dinner...
I seasoned a split chicken breast with 21 season salute and some chicken bullion...threw fresh garlic into the pan and baked it along with a red skinned potato...I took the chicken outwhen it was done and threw in some cauliflower/ broccoli/ carrot mix which heated up in the nice garlicky juice... Peppermint bark ice cream for dessert but I had it first.... Sometimes being a grown up ROCKS.. . |
A big reuben sandwich with chips and a pickle spear. Drink was a sweet tea.

I made a toasted ham and cheese sandwich with tomatoes and fresh avacado. I ate chips and salsa on the side and drank ice tea.

Swai.....seasoned & oven baked....with honey glazed carrots and steamer green beans....maintaining my 700 cal a day now...I JUST am able to have soft regular foods now....:)

I ate at work, a kielbasa sandwich and French fries.

I had to have another Pineapple Teriyaki Turkey Burger, and I added a little Island Teriyaki sauce to some small white beans for my side - an attempt at Island Baked Beans. Delicious! :)

Dinner tonight will be leftover goulash that I finally got to make yesterday. It turned out real good for my first time making it. I got some fresh meat at the new butcher shop that finally opened.
