my son makes the best french fries... real ones... and i dont know what he does but they have some kinds of different stuff on them that makes them snappy on the outside and melt in your mouth on the inside... he makes them from russets so that they are a little sweet to go with the seasoning he uses...
that is supper tonite...
yep... gotta love a real fried tater!

Miss Scarlett 11-27-2010 08:40 PM

I don't know exactly but it's going to be based around the 93% lean ground turkey I took out of the freezer earlier today.

I'm still working on leftovers but that's cool because I love traditional Thanksgiving foods. Too bad we only eat it once a year or so.

I'm having turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, roasted glazed sweet potatoes, green beans with roasted garlic and a slice of honey pumpkin pie for dessert.

Mtn 11-28-2010 07:39 PM

I finally decided on turkey burgers. Throw in some jalopenos and sweet 'n tangy chipotle bbq sauce and you have one heckuva juicy, spicy burger! Whole grain buns with two slices of pepperjack cheese and dill pickle slices on the burgers. Organic opted for spicy brown mustard and mayo on his. Asparagus on the side.

WolfyOne 11-28-2010 08:59 PM

Another day of football and I didn't cook but I did eat spicy spaghetti and garlic bread

Homemade Chicken n biscuits -

lipstixgal 11-29-2010 03:16 PM

I don't know it could be chili, it could be soup but its definitely a salad for sure. maybe some pasta with mascapone cheese and pecorino romano like fettucine alfredo without all the work...

katsarecool 11-29-2010 03:21 PM

I am thinking a bowl of chicken noodle soup, a small salad with cornbread sounds nice for dinner tonight.

JustJo 11-29-2010 04:56 PM

Filet mignon (I tell myself it isn't expensive when I buy a big one at BJ's and cook it at home  )
baked potatoes
peas & carrots

...that's it! :eating:

Gemme 11-29-2010 05:06 PM

Ground turkey, pasta, bell peppers, onions, garlic and other interesting seasonings for both of us and a side of dressing and cranberry sauce for Organic.
