Technically my dinner is right now..
I'm enjoying my granola with added sweet and salted nuts.dipped in a fantastic almond butter and bursting with almonds and flavor.. |
Dinner
The carne guisada is in the crock pot. Cross your fingers for sucess. I used the food network recipe mostly but added beef bouillon, chilies, and coco for a Mexican flavor.

Leftover drumsticks & Brussels sprouts, along with freshly roasted beets. I also roasted a couple of heads of garlic and will have some on a piece of bakery sourdough.
For dessert a yummy piece of mango key lime pie! :drool: |

I had steak, a sweet potato, tons of steamed veggies and mini cupcakes (red velvet and lemon curd).

I had a filling lunch so for dinner I had refrigerator pickles that I made and sliced apples, drizzled with honey and sprinkled with Trader Joe's cashew almond ginger granola. Tasted like a raw apple crisp. Yum

I baked a ham so I could make potato soup tomorrow, so a hot ham and cheddar cheese sandwich was just right for dinner.

Cocktail meatballs, pasta salad, hummus, raw veggies, salsa 'n chips & spinach dip = game night!

I am cooking beef liver with bacon, onions, garlic, rosemary and cayenne, also steamed sweet potatoes and mixed veggies.
I know that many people despise liver, but I grew up eating it before I had much of a choice as to what I ate, so I developed a taste for it. :) |

I had zesty orange chicken with basmati rice and sautéed veggies plus red velvet cupcakes for dessert. Flavored water to drink.

The potato soup is good, I made enough to eat then put two containers in the freezer. I'm on a cooking binge after being laid up for a while, no telling what will end up in the freezer.

I have enough leftovers for a couple of days, so I am going to heat up something from the fridge, and maybe slice up a tomato and an avocado to go with.

I had tomato soup, tater tots, and chips and dip. I washed it down with a margarita.
I ate while I worked, I think that is obvious. |

I made a Mediterranean salad of sorts with chicken, olives, artichokes, cucumber, tomato, avocado, and a light Greek dressing. I tossed it all together, and then into a Paleo wrap lined with Romaine lettuce leaves.

I am making bean soup. I hope it turns out okay I don't remember ever making it before but I found it in the pantry. I added a smoked ham hock.

I'm making chicken and Yukon gold potatoes in the oven. Drizzled with Tuscan herb infused oil and sprinkled with every day spice. I added several cloves of garlic in. Its in the oven now and smells delish.
Its been forever since I cooked. The lunches at work are so yummy, filling and free. |

Steak n cheese sub with spinach, onion, tomatoes, pickles, peppers. Brought it home and added sriracha sauce because I don't like it with mayo in it.
