C0LLETTE 12-09-2016 09:09 PM

Martina 12-10-2016 06:49 PM

I bought some of those super skinny steaks, which I fried. They were sorta gross. Live and learn. No substitute for good meat.

Mashed potatoes -- those already made ones. Deli baked beans.

Gemme 12-10-2016 09:14 PM

I had asparagus and mixed veggies and cranberry sauce and then some junk and then later I had the last of the salsa and some chips. Now, I'm working on a sucker.

nycfem 12-10-2016 09:34 PM

I sauteed some tofu with carrots and onions and pinenuts and added some sweet chlii sauce. For dessert: strawberry ice cream.

Poached salmon, long grain & wild rice, asparagus.

Jesse 12-10-2016 10:49 PM

Earlier, I divided a pound of pasture raised ground beef into 4- 1/4 lb patties and grilled them. I had one for dinner this evening on toasted sour dough with avocado and onion, along with a bowl of steamed veggies. :eating:

Steak, sauteed mushrooms and zucchini.

Chad 12-11-2016 05:29 PM

I roasted potatoes in the oven with olive oil, garlic and fresh rosemary.

Who is this Evol? I've noticed you've posted before about Evol too! Is it a personal chef who comes and prepares your meal?

Technically, it's evol. Love backwards with a period at the end (or beginning, depending on how you look at it).

It's a company I discovered a few months ago in the freezer section. Lots of vegetarian and gluten free options but some really delish dishes and their burritos are ginormous!

See here. And here. And here. And here. There's no GMOs, no antibiotics....nothing fake. Just a couple 'diet' options but these bowls are super filling.

They are: "Bringing down the broken food system. One bite at a time."

The truffle mac 'n cheese is STRONG with truffle flavor, though, so if you pick it up, be prepared for that.

:)

homoe 12-12-2016 07:41 PM

Oh OK food for thought, no pun intended!

I've not seen these yet out here in the Pacific Northwest!

easygoingfemme 12-12-2016 08:08 PM

It's 9pm and I still don't know. I've been in a food funk. Nothing really sounds good or exciting.

candy_coated_bitch 12-12-2016 10:27 PM

A grilled zucchini burrito and froyo with berries for dessert.

Jesse 12-13-2016 04:26 AM

I was gonna skip it but got to feeling peckish...

I sauteed turkey kielbasa with fresh green beans and had a baked potato with it. It hit the spot.

Trader Joe's Tahitian vanilla caramels for dessert

easygoingfemme 12-13-2016 07:21 PM

I had a small wrap stuffed with a mish mash I made the other night- some free range ground turkey cooked up with diced sweet potato, black beans, tomato, onion, and chili seasonings. It worked.

firegal 12-13-2016 07:38 PM

rice/beans/lentil mix from costco and cottage cheese.

Medusa 12-13-2016 07:39 PM

I tried something new tonight. Luvo makes a frozen dinner of chicken in bbq sauce, millet grits and collard greens. It sounded good so I tried it. The chicken was delicious, the grits weren't too bad and the greens were not designed to be nuked, which I suspected and that was confirmed. A dash of vinegar helped remedy that problem but it certainly wasn't the best I've ever had.

I don't love every fake meat product and I'm super aware of texture, but this simmered in homemade spaghetti sauce for an hour. I served it with ww pasta, and garlic toast. Pete loved it, and I have two portions to bring with me for lunch.

C0LLETTE 12-13-2016 08:52 PM

I had one of those poisonous ramen noodle bowls with two handfuls of left over bbq chicken bits and sliced mushrooms tossed in...frankly, it was remarkably satisfying and i may repeat tomorrow, if that little sauce packet doesn't do me in somewhere during this night.

Stone-Butch 12-13-2016 10:14 PM

dinner

Baked chicken, baked potato, steamed pea pods. Ice tea to drink.
