I had a little bit of this and a little bit of that: last of the loaded potato salad with some bacon jerky and honeycrisp apples with reduced fat peanut butter and flavored water to drink.

I'm just going to keep digesting the Indian-All-You-Can-Eat-Buffet I had for lunch, until tomorrow morning...lots of water might be a good idea, too.

Paleo chili. I used a new recipe that called for chopped veggies in place of beans, no other changes. It's really good.

I made lentil stew...
I sauteed mushrooms in coconut oil then added some turkey sausage..added water to the pot and put in the lentils. Added spices and onion soup mix and let it simmer. Added frozen peppers, corn and California mix. I meant to add fresh spinach but forgot. This was actually for lunch but it was awesome so it was dinner too. |
Banana pancakes, sugar free syrup and a cold glass of milk.

My sweetheart is making ham & red beans & rice...I would love to be there to enjoy a bowl with her, but alas..have to wait a bit...:(.
I will have my leftover half of John Coctostan quesadilla from Moe's last evening..and a quarter cup of queso blanco with chips...:byebye: |

While I was grabbing water at the store I saw that they had shrimp on sale...
I sauteed them in coconut oil and butter with some Italian seasoning... A Channa masala frozen dinner with it. I'm thinking about a beer now. The shrimp hit the spot...yum |
I had a veggie mix and shredded cheese over quinoa and brown rice with garlic, although they should have said 'garlic with quinoa and brown rice'.

Mexican style chili, made with chorizo, topped with sour cream and cheese. I made corn bread as well, with cream corn as the mysterious ingredient.

We cooked together tonight. Filet Mignon, mushrooms and green beans dessert was a skinny cow ice cream.

I had vegetarian buffalo wings with barbecue sauce.

I still have no idea what I'll have...maybe I'll graze..maybe I wont. Just not feeling it today

I made Tzatziki today using a new recipe that I got second hand that is supposedly from a lady who owns/operates a restaurant in the Greek Island of Paros. I had the Tzatziki sauce with a gyro salad that I made this evening. It was great!

I decided to cook today
Sauteed mushrooms, onions, and peppers for sandwiches made a broccoli risotto elbow pasta with alfrado sauce and made a big batch of chex mix for snacking so, there are choices...just not sure which one I'll pick yet. |
I hit up Bulk Nation today, so I will likely just graze on healthy but yummy stuff; nuts, protein bites made with nuts, seeds, cacao, goji berries and dates, dried beet chips, dried okra, dried green beans & dried plantain. Oh, and dark chocolate nibs. :)

I treated myself to my favorite Jamaican ish restaurant...
I got an entree to go and had an appetizer while I waited. But I got full on the app so it's dinner now lol I had nachos with black beans, smoked gouda queso, fire roasted tomato and mango salsa and various other veggies. It was spicier than usual and I loved it. Water to drink Reggae to listen to. Happy girl, happy tummy :) |
Subway had a pseudo Philly sub for $6 tonight so I turned in my points and dinner was not only yummy but free. I got it with the shredded beef, provolone, all the veggies except onions and hot peppers plus a little Chipotle Southwest sauce. I changed my mind at home and wiped most of that sauce off and dipped the sub into some peppercorn dressing.

I had shrimp gumbo at a restaurant. It was good, better than I could make.
