turkey sandwich with bread and butter sandwich stuffers on it, lettuce, little mayo

side item - lots of those minature red , yellow and orange elongated looking bell peppers, they are so crunchy and sweet (they are not really bell peppers but I do not know their official name)

starting 2nd glass of milk now

sandwich is so thick, I can barely get my face around it ... but of course somehow I am managing 😉

There's a few possibilities. We have leftover pot roast with potatoes and carrots, vegetarian chili, Alfredo pasta with broccoli, Alfredo pasta with mushrooms and Shepards Pie. All I've ate today was some salami and cheese on crackers, ambrosia and popcorn so I am starving!

I made nachos with hot salsa, tomato-based bean and veggie soup, and Greek yogurt with blueberries and walnuts and cinnamon.

Turkey and dressing with gravy. Pumpkin loaf for dessert.

I am going to make braised beef with a rich brown gravy. I am still pondering the sides.

I ordered an pepperoni pizza from my favorite place to get one (5 Guys).

I ate dessert first - nuked a Banquet apple pie , milk to drink

Frozen Stouffers spaghetti dinner received next nuking ... two more glasses of milk to help spaghetti along ... I am purely stuffed!

SCORE! Domino's pizza now delivers to my house, so we are having a Meatzza pizza and some cheese bread with marinara sauce. Domino's isn't quite as good as the pizza I normally get, but someone (me) has to go get the better pizza.

I can even overlook the fact that the driver called me "sweetheart". Twice. :|

I had a pepperoni pizza with olives, onions, jalapenos, and extra cheese. Mike's Hard Lemonade to drink.

I'm having a salad of broccoli, celery and red onions with some hot tea (it's a cold night) and water. And something for protein.. probably a few sliced eggs in the salad?

I made cornbread for breakfast. So that is done. It would be wasted with such a large dinner. I had it with butter and raw honey and two mugs of tea about 5am. Nice way to start the day.

I'm craving fried catfish...and so it shall be.

My Texan New Year meal will include black-eyed peas with fresh onions, cabbage and veggie salad, cornbread, and thick cut bacon. Cold peppermint tea to drink.

Tiki masala chicken with jasmine rice

Leftover champagne, peanut butter and jelly, and pickles.

- beef lo mein
- sweet and sour pork
- egg rolls
- the last bit of apple pound cake

Today I cooked New England boiled dinner which consists of:

Pork roast
Cabbage
Onion
Carrots
Potatoes
Celery

I was brought up with us cooking at all day but I throw it in the pressure cooker and cook it for just a little over an hour and it is absolutely delicious

What every self respecting Texan has on New Years Day; black eyed peas {i make mine very thick} and cornbread {i like mine very sweet}. A little cranberry & gingerale virgin cocktail and then cheesecake to sweeten the deal. Perfect.

Fried cabbage with bacon and onions. Black eyed peas. Cornbread and a tea to wash it all down.

What every good Southerner is having;

Collard greens (slow simmered all day)

Pan fried ham
Baked sweet potato

Of course the veggies were cooked with ham hocks.
