I do not normally keep bread in the house, but seeing as I bought this half a loaf of dark pumpernickel I am determined to eat it, rather than let it go to waste. So...tonight I fried up some bacon and made a monstrous BLT...I was starving and piled a whole mess of mixed herb greens on there, instead of nasty iceberg lettuce.

Quinoa Taste

Tonight I made Homemade Quinoa/Wild Rice Soup. Hearing the virtues of quinoa I keep trying it, but so far everything I put in, the quinoa dominates the dish with a grainy taste.

Any suggestions?

I had taken out some chicken brest to thaw,I had no idea what I was going to make with it.After some chilling out then letting my warped mind float around I hit on the idea of makeing chicken jamablaya from scratch,i'm glad I made it it was so good...I even have left overs for later.
Tomorrow I have a boston rib roast all made up with allll the good things that will go with it in the fridge just soaking up the good spices /seasonings I have rubbed then sprinkled over it.Gonna b e good.

My wife is the best cook, I really can't say it enough.
So in an attempt to at least try to stick with Paleo but have a favourite family dinner, we had chicken and green beans and potatoes baked in olive oil and Italian seasonings and roasted garlic. I have no clue how we are going to give that up, but I'm hoping we come up with a new family favourite that's just as delicious.
