My BFF & I ate at a little pub close by...we had chicken quesadillas..OMG. They were the absolute best I have ever had. These had a mix of corn kernels & black beans in them as well as shredded chicken, onions, & cheddar cheese. Perfectly crispy on outside....:).

My spouse wanted a burger and chili from Wendy’s after her pool therapy. I just got a salad.

The second half of my Slim Chickens ... Slim Salad. It's a current favy... quite good ... generous portion... variety of toppings ... with grilled or fried chicken ... and it's a drive through... so you get it quick! I like being able to chill in my car ... away from the office... but not have to sit in the restaurant. Never thought I'd recommend a salad ... but there ya go! :koolaid:
They seem to be located mostly in the center of the US with one outlier in AZ and one in... Kuwait ... yes, according to their website, they have one in Kuwait! |
Probably nothing. I had a huge really late lunch so I think that's enough for the day.

Fish Camp Buffet
Took my parents with me. It has a seafood buffet and a country buffet. I had shrimp, catfish nuggets, a piece of flounder, a piece of country ham, lima beans carrot salad. |

It's less about self control and more about listening to my body. I didn't NEED to eat. I had a calorie dense and very healthy breakfast and a very calorie laden, although less healthy, late lunch. I had already ingested enough calories for the day and then some and I really wasn't hungry. If I had eaten, it would have been out of habit or because I just WANTED to. My body didn't need it. Some days are better than others but my goal is always to listen to my body. The one thing I did need, which was water as my lunch had a high salt content, I gave myself. I guess, technically, I had a couple cups of water for my dinner last night. Hang in there! If you listen to your body, really listen, and try not to give into emotional or boredom eating, you'll feel better. |

Basically beef burrito insides. Hamburger, salsa, shredded cheese and some sour cream. It was ok. Certainly filling.

Yesterday with Easter dinner my stepmom made mashed cauliflower. That was the first time I had had it. She made it with roasted garlic and parmesan cheese. I was a doubter I have to admit. That was until I tried it. It was super yummy!
Along with the mashed cauliflower we had pork loin, salad and deviled eggs. I really enjoyed the whole dinner! |
We will be eating leftovers for daysssss
Plus I'm making corn chowder with the leftover ham AND I made a big thing of spaghetti sauce before the holiday dinner. Gonna have to start freezing some stuff.. |

Creole Chicken Soup
I made an homemade chicken soup with high protein bowtie pasta, an sprinkle or two of wild long grain rice, corn niblets, finely chopped celery, onion and tiny broccoli buds and I used an single dry leaf of basil. The chicken was from the meat dept, and it is pre-marinated in Creole spice, so it's flavorful and very tasty. There's enough for a couple of meals on-the-go, throughout this week. :bow:

A can of Libby's low sodium cut green beans with extra salt added in, half a cup of Lipton black tea, a huge glass of water. I have food, I'm just feeling too lazy to cook it that's all.

Two legs off a precooked chicken from Sprouts! I need a veggie and then later... maybe a starch. I'm eating in stages tonight! :p

I brought home spinach to saute, but I'm looking up hot bacon dressing instead. It will be tasty on a spinach salad with hard boiled eggs. And grilled ribs.
I think I'll add blackberries to the salad as well! Bon appetit! |
I grilled marinated steaks and grilled garlic edamame.
Mashed potatoes and pickled beats Felt good to enjoy my grill, but it wore me out. Not up to full steam yet. |
