Hamburger patty atop a bed of spinach and sliced red peppers. Hamburger had a slice of Munster cheese, a tease amount of chipotle bbq sauce and green onions. Actually looked good on the plate!

Sugar free lemonade.

Later..sliced strawberries with a dollop of daisy..lol

Tonight I made another small garden salad and I even made my own Tumeric dressing. My garden salad was made from 2 organic Romaine lettuce leaves (torn up gently). A small sprinkling of julienned carrots, Sesame Tahini salad toppers, a small teaspoon of French Feta crumbles, a tablespoon of cottage cheese (on the side of the salad), about four walnut halves, four big blackberries, and a few slices from a baby zucchini and about four sugar snap pea pods.

For the Tumeric dressing:
Blend up one cup of organic Greek yogurt (plain), 1 tbsp of coconut oil, 1 tsp of Tumeric powder, half a packet of stevia powder, a titch of cayenne pepper, ginger and cracked peppercorns. I read that peppercorns help your body to absorb the tumeric. If stevia is not your thing, you can use an tbsp of honey. Store in a covered glass jar and use within seven days (keep it refrigerated too).

I also had a small slice of the artisan garlic bread, topped off with a tbsp of freshly ground peanut butter.

Before 8 pm, I will have my dessert... 1 Crunchy Brownie Think Thin bar.

I've got another quart of water to drink to meet my daily water quota of 1 gallon.

Wrang1er 04-11-2018 05:19 PM

I grilled out chicken that I sprinkled with Greek seasoning and drizzled with a balsamic glaze, cabbage steaks and cheeseburgers.

MsTinkerbelly 04-11-2018 05:36 PM

Fried chicken
Homemade potato salad
Sliced melon

Gemme 04-11-2018 07:26 PM

I had another Asian salad. It was great. No naan though.

Sad face.

Wrang1er 04-12-2018 03:06 PM

We had salads and croissants and I grilled steaks. It was yummy but now I feel like I need a nap. I will mow the yard instead.

girl_dee 04-12-2018 03:13 PM

spinach quiche that i picked of from the French bakery

Katniss 04-12-2018 04:35 PM

A new dish

Beef and Mac southwestern casserole is in the oven. Trying some new fix-ahead dishes so when we get home it's just bake and serve. We'll see....

I actually like to take a portion of the squares in a ziplock bag and eat them as a late morning snack at work. Filling and I feel like I treated myself while everyone else wanders around with a doughnut.

Katniss~~

That's a great idea ! Today was actually the first time that I tried a "dry" square !!
I'll be snackin' on them too now !! :)

Gemme 04-12-2018 06:43 PM

Another salad!

GeorgiaMa'am 04-12-2018 06:47 PM

- mashed potatoes
- applesauce

Kätzchen 04-12-2018 07:26 PM

Another small garden salad tonight, plus I cooked up some blackened spicy chicken medallions. I had a couple of those with my salad and the Tumeric dressing, and put the rest of the medallions in the fridge to go with salads, over the next couple of days.

I've already met my water quota today (1gallon).

Dessert is: 1 Think Thin bar, in about half an hour. Crunchy Peanut Butter.

<<<<<<~~ my nighty jama pants are sliding off my hips and so, either I am losing weight or I'm using the wrong soap for my laundry. I may need to expand my weekend shopping list.

Katniss 04-13-2018 03:04 PM

Apricot glazed rosemary pork tenderloin, rice, and fresh green peas.

I am trying very, very hard to prep dinner the evening before. I even have the rice grains measured out in little bags. The goal is minimal clean-up during the work week.

Katniss~~

Gayandgray 04-13-2018 03:27 PM

Cheesecake............

Liam 04-13-2018 05:07 PM

I had a bowl of mushroom barley soup and a mini-baguette with butter, followed by a chocolate cupcake. :)

Martina 04-13-2018 05:34 PM

Colonel Sanders with slaw and green beans. I am fortunate that breading on chicken and fish doesn't push blood glucose up much because it's such a satisfying treat when one can't have bread, pasta, white potatoes and such.

Gemme 04-13-2018 08:11 PM

I had my last salad. I'm all out of greens.

Katniss 04-15-2018 05:18 PM

Had--as in past tense

Today has been cool and rainy so it was a perfect night for Shepherd's Pie. The best part is I doubled the recipe and made two so one is chilling in the freezer for a future "heat and eat" dinner. I have such a hard time forcing myself to meal prep in advance but the rewards are well worth it.

Katniss~~ thinking about challenging myself to a "30 days of no take-out" but may wait for school to be out first.

firegal 04-15-2018 05:33 PM

here at Davenport Hotel for 6 days in Spokane Wash for Wash State Council Of Firefighters Exec Board meeting.....so hotel food this week. Tonite Salmon is what i picked.....

Sweet as Cake 04-15-2018 06:19 PM

Belgian waffles with fresh Blueberries, and a cup of tea !! ☕:)

Gemme 04-15-2018 06:51 PM

The tainted ones were not found in my state and I did not have the blends affected.

Plus there's the whole "I'm not sick" thing.

GeorgiaMa'am 04-15-2018 07:14 PM

Ham and cheese sandwich. It's nice to be back on solid foods again, after three days of waiting for my mouth to heal after having a tooth extracted.

RockOn 04-15-2018 08:14 PM

couldn't ever come up with an idea that sounded good so I skipped it ... not hungry much lately ...

QueenofSmirks 04-15-2018 08:34 PM

SmashBurger!

MsTinkerbelly 04-15-2018 10:23 PM

El pollo loco chicken burrito

A piece of homemade pumpkin spice chip cake...yumbolicious!

Kätzchen 04-16-2018 03:00 PM

I had smoked oysters and two Wäsa crackers, topped with Mascarpone cheese, for breakfast.

I had an cup of home made veggie soup for lunch.

Tonight I'm having a summer garden salad, trimmed with spring greens, French sheep feta crumble cheese, berries, walnuts and topped with Tumeric dressing and Tahini salad cracker bits. One Pork medallion baked in an Hawaiian glaze.

Dessert will be an Crunchy chocolate Brownie bar by Think Thin.

I gotta drink more water tho. I've only met half of my water quota for the day.

cinnamongrrl 04-16-2018 04:56 PM

I'm making my first EVER home made mac n cheese. I'm nervous and excited. It's in the oven now and I'm like a hoverin' nervous mama.

On the side we'll have broccoli (which probably only I will eat) and Texas toast.

We shall see....

Lyte 04-16-2018 05:43 PM

This BIG salad I didn't get to each for lunch. :hamactor:

Gemme 04-16-2018 05:52 PM

Miles and miles !!!!). :crybaby:

Have a nice evening ! (f)

Orema 04-16-2018 07:35 PM

Ribs and fries left over from lunch.

Katniss 04-16-2018 07:56 PM

Blackberry sage chicken breasts, balsamic parmesan cauliflower and rice.

I would love a Krispy Kreme (original glaze) doughnut for dessert like some of you are having but alas dessert is a few handfuls of "gay popcorn."

Katniss~~
