Tonight, another venture in a cuisine I have been developing. A fusion of Southern comfort food and Hawaiian, as that is where I now reside...Paniolo pork barbecue with peaches served with a Napa cabbage slaw in mango chipotle dressing speckled with cilantro, local bush green beans, roasted corn on the cob and green chili Asiago hush puppies.

i'm having a craving for biscuits and brown gravy. not sure if that's what i'll have for dinner lol. but i'm craving! we will see.

since we still have sore throats around here and swallowing isn't the easiest. I made homemade broccoli and cheese soup. Served in a homemade bread bowl and a half BLT sandwich on the side for those who wanted.

Little man doesn't like broccoli (even though he'll eat it if on his plate) I made him mac and cheese with a couple hot dogs.

Tonight I did a homemade lasagna and some nice crusty French bread.

The lasagna had a garlicky sweet red gravy, 1/2 ground sirloin and 1/2 ground italian sausage, and lots of Pecorino Romano and mozzarella. DELISH!

I made the yummy potatoes, green & yellow beans, carrots with garlic/cream cheese/chicken broth sauce and chicken cordon bleu (the chicken with ham/cheese inside)

Turkey breast,taters and string beans and of course cottage cheese.
Turkey breast will be slow cooked on BBQ!

Boneless chicken breasts slow cooked in olive oil and worcestershire sauce, broccoli and salad. I'm thinking I may shred the chicken, add that and broccoli to salad. :chef: A party in a bowl. :thumbsup:

Yesterday, I had some whole garlic that needed to be used up, sooo I made a roasted garlic oil. I took a chuck roast and browned it in the garlic oil. I deglazed the pan with a few cups of white wine and added a bunch of veggies and put it in the oven for a little while. Last night everybody ate it over egg noodles and Ms made delicious green peas to go with it.
