Doughnuts. Not even bothering to sit down. Standing at the counter, one after the next. I'll spare everyone the gory details concerning how much how fast, and suffice it to say – it was a crime scene.

It happens.

I had a salad last night. A giant one! Two small pieces of artisan bread too.

easygoingfemme 08-03-2018 05:59 AM

Last night was curry shrimp over cauliflower rice and a big salad.

Not sure about tonight. It's actually going to be semi cool and raining which makes me want to make soup or something.

I am SO glad to see someone else enjoys standing at the counter and just chowing down!

great sense of humor btw...

candy_coated_bitch 08-03-2018 01:51 PM

Not sure yet but it will be out at my favorite pub.

FireSignFemme 08-03-2018 05:11 PM

Tonight it is going to be garden fresh tomato slices, cucumber spears, and cottage cheese. Sweet tea, sort of. I don't care for many diet/low cal sweeteners so I bought regular and will mix it with an equal part of regular unsweetened peach tea then ½ for today ½ for tomorrow. I'm trying to drink more water than any other type of beverage because really, I know for the body it's best. I mean in ancient times I know humans weren't drinking Cola or knocking back bathtub gin. It's hard to imagine but there was probably life before Hawaiian Punch and Nestle Quick too.

I "made" dinner for my family at my mom's house. Everyone is in need.of nourishment there on many levels

I bought.rotisserie chicken...with the thought that it would spare having to turn on the oven...then I decided to make ranch potatoes..which DOES require the oven. DOH!
I also made zucchini right from my garden.

The potatoes were the big hit with most, while my niece loved the chicken. And only the chicken. Which I had nothing to do with. But she kept telling me what a good cook I was anyway lol

Silly wabbit

Just came inside and am eating now ....

Bowl of Healthy Choice Chicken Noodle soup with saltines ... milk to drink. And not nearly enough.

I only have about 24 oz of milk left and I am pretty upset about it. I should have made a run into town today for milk. It will be a long 12 hours ahead unless I go on to town tonight. Bet I will !!!

It's my daughters night to cook tonight. She's making a vegan stir fry with peanut sauce :)

Last night was my night to cook and we had planned a fish stew- which I made- and we were all too hot to eat. So we ate slices of deli turkey and cheese.

Garlic-parm-herb crusted roasted asparagus spears, a new potato, baked, and sautéed squash & onions.....all served up by my neighbors/friends.

They are following the Forks Over Knives plant based meal plans, and OMG I am stuffed. It wasn't huge portions, but so filling!

Yesterday I was treated to a pumpkin pie made with applesauce & oats & pumpkin..all plant based AND an oatmeal oats & vegan chocolate chips cookie....OMG!

Spicy Dinner.....

My neighbors were in town (two hours away), they called to see if I wanted anything for dinner. There a family that came from India approximately 20 years ago, half the family are farmers and the other half have a wonderful restaurant....long story short: Indian Food! The best I have ever had, more importantly it's made by neighbors and fellow farmers.

Yummy.

Last night was smoked lox and nothing else. I ate it right out the package. Was too tired to scramble eggs, but the lox on its own was so good and exactly what I needed.

Kätzchen 08-14-2018 11:51 AM

I'm not sure, what I will have for supper tonight. Lately, I've been using copious amounts of Riced Cauliflower on my organic salads. I might go by Trader Joe's later today to see what kinds of extra goodies I can buy to take home, so I will be stocked up on favorite salad toppings for my organic salads.

For sure, I'm gonna get more Orange Miso organic salad dressing and Sesame Asian dressing too. :wine:
