last nights dinner was amazing-- chicken drumsticks with an asian marinade with a salad. Those drumsticks were amazing.

Traditional Italian Christmas Eve dinner is called the feast of the 7 fishes. We are having fried, breaded shrimp; stuffies with clams, bay scallops, and lobster; snail salad for me and calamari in tomato sauce for everyone else; and aglio e olio (angel hair pasta with olive oil, garlic, and anchovies).

Dessert will be strawberry cream cheese pie and home made Italian cookies.

Tomorrow I will be busy from dawn until dusk...after dusk since it is dark around 4. I'm looking forward to cooking a very decedent feast!

Tonight will be either Chinese or Indian food, yet to be decided. Delivered to my door. Christmas Eve is chill out night.

Red and green tamales are on today's dinner menu. We are keeping it simple, and having sour cream and guacamole with them. Pecan pie for dessert.

Hickory smoked ham, turkey breast with stuffing and gravy, sweet potatoes, brussel sprouts, corn, beet salad, cranberry sauce, and for dessert tiramisu. As usual, I've cooked enough for a starving battalion....anyone want leftovers? :)

I made up a stew ...10 quarts of it. :(

Even the dogs would not touch it until I added a handful of grated mild cheddar cheese to their bowls.

Sometimes the make up a recipe does pretty good. This was not one of those
