Today I am roasting a turkey breast and basting it with Apple cider and butter, making mashed potatoes, candied sweet potatoes, gravy, and a broccoli cauliflower carrot mix. Dinner is @ 5!!

Dessert! When son learned I had a cold he bought me some Outshine no added sugar fruit juice bars. It's a little late but I haven't eaten all day so... first some Pacific Foods Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Soup.

I'm already excited about it! Korean beef tips with steamed veggies, an eggplant cutlet and some peach rings. Maybe some sweet ice tea to drink.

We're going to try and re-create a casserole from our childhood that both of our mothers made. Mine called it Hamburger Mulligan. It's simply browned ground beef with various seasonings, whole kernel corn, canned or fresh tomatoes, and elbow macaroni baked in the oven at 350 for about 30 minutes. Now this does not sound like rocket science, but neither did my mother's recipe for Beef Barley Soup which I watched her make a gazillion times.....to be truthful my attempts were down right disasters! |

Dinner
I am cooking up a storm. So far corned beef hash, boiled eggs, bacon, butterbeans, cornbread, ham, roasted butternut squash for soup, sweet potatoes, porkchops, and yellow squash.

Baby back ribs, egg noodles, Chuck roast with potatoes, carrots and onions. Cottage cheese and sliced tomatoes.

Instant mashed potatoes and gluten-free brown gravy from those little packets. First cup of coffee since, feels like ages. Milk since there's no ½ and ½, orange fruit juice bar. For dessert a late night snack of more milk and coffee and the last of the canned pears. Until tomorrow. Then on to the second can of sliced pears. :fastdraq:

I made mom perogies. I was going to have some myself until I saw that there are 42 carbs in a serving (4). I opted for a salad with taco meat.

I had 2 pieces of bacon lovers thin crust pizza, soda, water and no bake fudge cookies. I'm also nibbling on some Nerds.

I grazed all day on a salad I took to work and it was so simple, just a bed of salad greens, slivered almonds, thinly sliced red bell pepper, carrots and tiny broccoli buds. I had some left over smoked salmon and I broke it up into bits on top, then put in a few sesame type salad topper cracker thingy's on top.
Just a smidge of dressing. But it was soOooOooOooo tasty. I just could not eat it in one sitting, so I snacked on it all day long. I also drank lots of water and had a small bit of carrot juice. For dessert tonight, I had to tiny bite sized 'pay-day' type candy-like bars; Peanuts and caramel kind of candy like dessert. |
Last night was tuna salad on a warm tortilla and tonight will probably be the same. Quick, fast, and good.

BB and I went out for dinner tonight. We had Indian at a place we like a lot.
We shared Saag Paneer, some kind of whole wheat Tandoori bread, mango chutney, raita, papadum, a mango lassi, malai kafta, and samosa chat. It was really good and a nice setting, and we had a lot of laughs. It was good on all levels. I feel sorry for people who don't like Indian food :praying: |

I am just getting around to have a bite to eat for supper. So I am having a few broccoli buds (steamed) and several meatless 'Meat Balls' (steaming those too) and half a slice of Garlic Nan (it's warming up on the griddle).
Most likely I will smother it a bit with some vegan Caesar dressing and sprinkle a bit of grated parmesan on top. Sea salt and pepper too. Water to drink, but after my meal, I'm going to make a cup of herbal tea because I am coming down with a cold (I think). *achhhoooo* |

I had the last of the Santa Fe salad with some chips and pic de gallo, the last no bake fudge cookies, a piece of cake, soda, water and some Nerds. Too much sugar!
