Pacific Foods Roasted Pepper and Tomato Soup. It usually sells for $3.68 a carton at our local Walmart but today Grocery Outlet had it for 99 cents each. Bought a case, plus already had some on hand so that and a small side salad are on the menu tonight. Plus some string cheese I opened for lunch but surprise didn't have room for. The less I cut out/down on carbs the more that's happening now, feeling too full to finish.

Baked pork chop and beet salad. Ice tea with lots of lemon.

I had a little bit of everything: popcorn chicken, fresh fruit (banana, cantaloupe, honey dew melon, seedless red grapes and pineapple), fresh veggies (broccoli, cherry tomatoes, celery and carrots) with a cucumber ranch dressing, fake Frooz balls and apple chips with water to drink.

Frying up some chicken strips to add to a green salad. Lettuce, tomato, red onion, chick peas, bean sprouts, ranch dressing and shaved three cheese mix. Ice tea.

Charcuterie with cheddar, salami, capicola, and grapes.

Last night was curry spiced wings and roasted Brussel sprouts. Apples and peanut butter for dessert.
Will have leftover curry wings and probably a spinach salad tonight. |

A Buddha bowl - Quinoa, cucumber, carrots, red bell pepper, avocado sprinkled with sesame seeds, spinach, roasted potatoes, roasted Brussels sprouts, pickled red cabbage and spicy roasted chickpeas.

I went shopping so I picked up a double cheese/pepperoni panzarotti. Ice tea.

That's sounds delicious. I did not have that for dinner.
Instead, I had what was going to be my lunch and then I kept eating so it became an early dinner too. I had a Hillshire Small Plates (read: fancy lunchable) that had prosciutto, white cheddar and toasted rounds followed by an apple. That was the lunch part. The rest of it was technically dinner. I had Cheez It Snap'd Jalapeno Jack chips with Cabot Vermont Seriously Sharp White Cheddar pieces torn off and put on top. Basically, I created another lunchable type snack. Oooh! I should have put some bacon jam on the chip too. That would have been good but I didn't think of it and I don't have any bacon jam right now anyway. I did have another apple, some apple chips and some prunes. Lots of water to drink with all that salt. |

Tomorrow night - I am so Excited! - we're going to a pub that I love and haven't been to since before Covid. Looking forward to some delicious draft beers during the Braves game on the big TV and a huge cheeseburger and some cheddar biscuits, and maybe some nachos too. I am even going to put on makeup and jewelry and a wig (along with some cute capri pants and a t-shirt and Converse low tops). |
Tonight will be sautéed chicken breast with herbs, lemon and olive oil, shirataki noodles with Parmesan and cream, and spinach and lettuce salad.
Itty bitty apples for dessert. Or maybe I'll make some low-carb brownies with walnuts. Maybe not. :bow: |
The only thing I recognize are the green beans, cooked in an unusual way, and they don't smell good at all. The only reason I know the pork is pork is because she told me it's pork. It doesn't smell bad, just weird. I hope this isn't something that's supposed to be Spanish again. Not only was the stuff she made last time not Spanish, she also invented her own low carb version of it just for me. She always writes little notes on tape and sticks them to the baggies and food containers reminding me to freeze or use by such and such date and always thoroughly, thoroughly over cooks all the meat. I like meat to be well done, just not this overdone, kind of well done. Besides people have always eaten under cooked meat. I mean think about it, way, way back if it was bleeding and still making noise that was considered overdone and yet still here we are existing as a species.

Very cherry chip ice cream. Chilled prosecco rose. Followed with early to bed. Whew..that was a 50 hour week! |

I had a mix of a veggie roll, spicy California roll and spicy grilled salmon roll with extra ginger on the side. Sooo good. A ton of water to drink because of the soy sauce and a banana for dessert. |
