Last night I did some more research concerning the apartments I'm on wait lists for. One has a much longer wait list than we were told. The other has some bad reviews I wasn't aware of. However I've been here a lot longer than I cared to and it hasn't killed me yet. Also, the place I'm in now had bad reviews before I moved in and other than some smashed in pumpkins and missing decorations a couple of Halloweens it's nowhere near as bad as people said it was.

Anyhow we went to see about getting my name on a wait list for some still being built. It turned out I didn't have to go on a wait list because they had a one bedroom left. Just one still up for rent. Very surprising because they had an open house about a week ago for people to sign up which I didn't know about. Usually there are far more people applying than there are apartments to rent. I was sure they'd be gone by now and the wait list a mile long. I'm still having a hard time believing this is really happening!
