I wrestled with that for awhile too SB - I really had to force myself to get up in the morning and set a time for bed and even if I did not fall asleep right away - I stayed in bed until my body finally gave out. I had to keep at it for almost 2 weeks before my body started to get back into the flow of the sleep pattern. But, as you said - sometimes there are just people who's bodies will not cooperate no matter what methods they try. My sister used to be a serious night owl - especially when she was younger - not sure what changed that made her system get with the awake during the day sleep at night thing - maybe it was because she had kids. (shrugs).
