Whoa! My Giants lost to the Cubs (2-1) in one of the best games ever. Both pitchers were phenomenal (Lincecum v. Dempster as starters) and some great defensive plays as well as keen strategies by both managers. It really was a baseball fan's lovers game!

One more tomorrow in the series then SF goes to play the Tigers Thinking Hack will have some things to say about that series. I am anxious about this series as the Tigers are very strong- might well see some deficits (like hitting) the Giants have really show up while playing them.

does anyone know when the All Star rosters will be publicized? I'm getting more excited about it- ought to be terrific!
