- a pastrami sandwich on marbled rye
- strawberry shortcake (the strawberries weren't very sweet, but I made up for that with lots of whipped cream)

Open Nature chicken Sausage and Pepper, Cauliflower Crust Pizza. Extreemly thin crust, not very filling, more like an appetizer unless you eat the whole thing but so good. I also tried a bit of their Chicken Alfredo, but didn't care for it. No worry about wasting though because my grandson loved it. Healthiest thing in the world no but it's got to be a better nutritional choice for him than a happy meal even if you do make the drink milk or juice rather than a soft drink.

With the drop in temp after the tornado warnings..I decided something warm was needed for dinner! Homemade chicken soup. I didn't have egg noodles so I used wide lo mein noodles. Tastes the same. And I popped open a can of flakey butter biscuits.

I think I passed the Mom test tonight! Lol

I was feeling a little deprived that I couldn't be at my fam's Christmas to-do, so I ordered take-out:
- Turkey and dressing with gravy
- Congealed salad with whipped cream
- Eggplant casserole
- Sweet potato soufflé
- A Parker House roll

Last night I had a spicy poke bowl with tuna, albacore and avacado. It was so good.

Tonight I will find left over drum sticks from the rotisserie chicken. And hopefully fruit salad.

2 chicken chalupas for me, and 2 spicy potato soft tacos for the wife & we shared nacho fries....went on a picnic by the lake at a local park for date night & stroll thru Venetian Gardens...all lit up for the holidays!
