A Celebration of Life service for Maxwell Anderson will be held on
January 20, 2010 at 7:00pm. The service will be at Gentle Spirit
Christian Church, 601 W Ponce de Leon Avenue, Decatur, GA officiated by
Pastor Paul M. Turner.

This is one of Dr Max's most recent speeches given at the this year's trans rally (which Max helped to organize) in Atlanta where he talks about different friends who have been brutally attacked, raped and/or denied care because of being trans. Ironically, I myself was assaulted the very next day on the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall rebellion. Max fought hard for all of us. Looking back at this video, we never could have known we would be without him 6 months later. He left plenty of fight behind with us to pick up and carry on.

I am so sorry to hear this. I met Max at True Spirit many years ago. May the fairies escort him to Avalon. May the apple blossoms rain upon him.
