Linus, I rechecked Firefox and found 2 listings for Java add-ons. one was Platform and the other was Toolkit.
After looking at both of them, Platform was disabled for some reason and I enabled it, closed out Firefox and restarted. So, it seems like that was the culprit because I can get in through FF now. For anyone else with this issue, they should check both add-ons. Thanks for being here for me and walking me through it

my apologies if this has been addressed, but i couldn't find anything when I searched:
I'm having this odd issue where one of my photos says it has 7 comments but only 6 are visible. It's not a huge pressing dramatic problem or anything, i just thought it was really odd and wondered what was up with that. Any thoughts?
