Linus, I installed the Java update twice on Firefox and am still being told I can't get into chat because I need to update my plugin. I have never had this problem before.

Which Opearting System (Windows or Mac?) and which version of Firefox (9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16?)

No, that's when I found out Java needed updating. Afterwards, I closed Firefox and restarted and tried again, only to have chat tell me I still needed to update my plugin. So, I updated again, closed again and reopened to get same message.

Can you check the plugins for Firefox to see if java is enabled? (should be under Tools --> Add-ons)

Can you try getting into chat in IE?
