I went through a knitting phase and I've gone upstate for the Sheep & Wool Festival at the Rhinebeck Fairgrounds too many times to count.

You see people knitting on the subway all the time, in winter. I feel calmer, watching them. It's like the fish tank in the doctor's office.

My grandmother crocheted and so did my sister who passed away. I don't know what happened to the bodark crochet needle my grandfather made. I think my mom has it.

Next reunion, there should be a crafts share!
