Dee, dont mean to be following you around LOL. I bought some "beginner" knitting things today and i'm going to try my hand at it.
I've been reading in this thread awhile and you all are so very talented. You are all very amazing. I have zero crafting talent in my bones. BUT, i wanted to start doing something. So i'm gonna try and knit a scarf for Bully. I got a "kit" that has needles and some other things i have no clue what they are and a book and CD. I got two bundles of yarn. So far that's all i know. I'm getting ready to get into it tonight though. I'm so excited!!!! Thanks for this thread and all that post here. You give someone like me real hope.

IMO there is something special about something someone made, like someone once said to me, *it's part of your life* and when i make something for someone i put much energy and thought into it for them, so when they use it they get all of that good juju along with it. I look at the pic and i'm not sure if i'm doing it right or not. That is what is so frustrating. What if i'm practicing it wrong? I'm not to the point of poking my eyes out with the needle yet, but i have sat on them twice now.
