I came to my senses and sold my bike a few years ago and don't ride anything but a bicycle any more. Cars and Trucks are so distracted they don't see us. I'm just not willing to take the risk any more. It's sad, as I loved riding...

I'm so sorry that you don't ride anymore. Everyone makes that decision for themselves, and I remind myself that it's not my business to question. That said, I wish you didn't feel as if your decision to stop riding meant that you "came to (your) senses".
