i went with something simple and quick..scrambled eggs with a little parm cheese, and lots of black pepper on low carb whole wheat tortillas. and a big glass of ice water.

I made a lean hamburger stuffed with chopped turkey bacon and seasoned with cracked pepper, salt and garlic powder for Alex.
For myself, I made my lean hamburger stuffed with chopped turkey bacon, feta and steak sauce. Some cracked pepper and a light dusting of salt seasoned it nicely. We both had an argula blend salad with tomato and mushrooms and dressed in a ginger dressing. Yum! |

gren saw a grill cheese recipe she wanted to try...so that's what we're having tonight...partly because I'm to damn tired after cleaning the yard to cook something bigger.
the recipe calls for a light bread...but I'm going with sour dough bread (same calories in two slices and will make a bigger more filling sandwich). Turkey, artichoke, spinach, mozzarella, cream cheese, and salt and pepper. |

I am going to throw together a light pasta dish. Whole wheat pasta, with albacore tuna, a little olive oil and some parm. It melts together quite nicely..yum!

I made guava/pineapple/strawberry popsicles for my honey.
Eating the leftover mixture now. But for dinner we are having: Skirt steak w/ garlic salt pepper on grill Cilantro & green onion citrus (chutney, I guess you'd call it) Rice pilaf Yay for yummy food!! |

I took a couple slices of diet bread and put on a baking sheet in the oven with ham and cheese on them to toast open faced sandwiches. Once they were out I added a little bit of mayo, some lettuce, and onions. With it I had some grapes, and celery and carrot sticks.
All day I cut up greens, celery, radishes, onions, carrots, and good things for salad. *Smiles. Tomorrow I will be cutting up pineapple, watermelon, cantaloupe, nectarines, oranges, grapes, bananas, and strawberries for a fresh fruit salad. Ya know I think I could get used to this eating healthy thing if it is always like this. LOL! I definitely am NOT hungry! |
