A lot of smiles today.

- how my student worked so hard for a good report home, so his dad would be happy
- the beautiful view from my porch, the sun shining on the fields, the smell of the fresh air, the sound of the wind and birds
- Pot luck at work, good conversation with my co-workers
- Being told that I am very good at my job and if they dont hire me back next year they are idiots
- My math students putting in "orders" for what kind of candy bar they want to earn tomorrow
- Feeling like i was missed

i had a rough day and ez kept me held together. <3

*not to mention, last night the beast (chester) took a moment's opportunity and ran out into the dark at 12:30 am... after about 20 minutes i found him (we split up, i went into a canyon and ez went the opposite way into the neighborhood) and i'm trying to carry all of his 30 lbs and this big flashlight and right around the corner comes ez, rescuing us in his truck--and the whole time i knew he'd be along any minute and even though i couldn't see his truck when i saw lights coming down the street i knew it was him.

after being relieved that he was found... he wanted to tase him.

So, I was on my way to Homo Depot for two bottles of stuff. Imagine my glee when I discovered a Lowes has been built right next to it while I was gone. I pulled in at high speed and yep..it was open.

I left with many bottles of stuff, 3 Calla Lillies, 2 fruit bearing Holly shrubs, and paint samples.

Then, I came home and pan fried Haddock and potatoes and steamed green beans.

The whole day made me smile!

1,462 days ago (or 4 years and 1 day) Pisceanstar and I met for the first time in the flesh.

I recall ooohing and aaaahing with a certain lyrical girl about what I would wear to the diner that morning. Will it be a skirt, no,no... maybe jeans... (much giggling ensued!)

I went with a pair of jeans and tight white t-shirt. Of course.. she was there with another lady at the time, but.. you know, it was THE "Pisceanstar" ... I had noticed her on the dash since 2004 sometime and missed meeting her at the 2005 bash... so I was pretty stoked.

I geeked out and hugged her the moment I met her. Apparently that's when she realized I had nice sexy big (ahem!) .... and fantasy file #42 began

Four years later... my goodness... I feel so blessed and grateful to the universe for bringing us together.

Here I am now... chasing cars and dreams with the absolute love of my life. Lucky, lucky me.

Once again, stopping and picking some honeysuckle -- first to inhale the scent, then to open the bottom and get out that one perfect pearl of liquid, relishing the taste of it on my tongue.

And then, I followed that up with turkey/feta burgers on the grill.

And oh yeah, it's about 80 degrees and I get to work out of the office today.

yeah, life is good.
